Narsick
Chapel Hill, NC
Narsick was formed in the fall of 2022 by Chapel Hill bassist Sarah Landis, when she pulled up to her long-time drummer friend, Kyle Parker, at a stoplight and asked him to play in a punk band. They added the talents of frontwoman Ash Graña. Shane Peterson now joins the group on guitar. Once all the pieces were set in place, the songwriting synthesis took off, leading to a blend of punk sounds interwoven with many musical influences. Narsick recorded their self-titled LP at the Sandwich Shoppe with producer Scotty Sandwich with a planned release in August 2024.
Since forming, Narsick has grown and made its own name on the scene, playing local music institutions like The Local 506, The Cradle Backroom, and The Cave. They are fortunate to have shared the stage with local bands of all genres like Chicago’s North by North, Worthington’s Law in-your-face punk to Skate Rock legends Cardiel, all the way from Mexico City.
